1. Fluororubber (FKM/Viton)
Temperature range: Generally can work for a long time at 250℃, and special formulations can reach 500℃.
Characteristics: Excellent high-temperature performance, along with excellent chemical stability, good tolerance to fuel, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and strong oxidants (such as nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid).
Applications: High-temperature and corrosive gas/liquid sealing in the petroleum and chemical industries, diesel engines, fuel systems and chemical plant sealing requirements.
2. Silicone rubber (SIL)
Temperature range: -60℃ to +250℃, some modified materials can extend to -55℃ to 260℃.
Characteristics: Excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and atmospheric aging resistance. Good insulation performance, but low tensile strength and not resistant to oil.
Applications: High-temperature sealing for household appliances (electric water heaters, electric irons), and products in contact with the human body (water pots, water dispensers), as well as in electronics, electrical appliances, and automotive fields.
4. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
Temperature range: Can withstand extreme temperatures up to 260℃.
Characteristics: Excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, excellent friction coefficient, good self-lubrication, and high mechanical strength.
Applications: Sealing for acid, alkali, organic solvents and other media in the chemical industry, sealing in the food and pharmaceutical fields, as well as wear rings, guide rings and other mechanical components.
