2. Working Principle

The TC4P oil seal is a metal skeleton double-lip oil seal with a garter spring. Its working principle is to rely on the preload of the garter spring to make the main lip closely fit the surface of the moving part (such as steering rack, piston rod), forming a tight sealing interface to prevent the leakage of hydraulic oil.

The spiral oil return groove on the lip plays a key role during the reciprocating movement of the moving part: when the moving part moves, the groove can guide the small amount of oil that seeps into the lip back to the working cavity, reducing friction between the lip and the moving part, while further improving the sealing reliability. The dustproof lip on the outer side can effectively block external dust, impurities and other pollutants from entering the system, protecting the internal components from wear and extending the service life of the whole equipment.
