1. Model Definition
BRT PEEK-RED refers to red BRT type PEEK backup ring, specially used for hydraulic and pneumatic high-pressure sealing, to prevent O-rings from being extruded into clearances.
BRT: Standard sealing industry model, representing split or solid backup ring for high-pressure support of O-rings and oil seals.
PEEK: Polyetheretherketone, high-performance special engineering plastic.
RED: Bright red color, specially customized for easy installation identification (same pure PEEK material as beige version, no impact on performance).
2. Core Characteristics
Temperature Resistance: Long-term working temperature -55℃ ~ 260℃, short-term up to over 300℃.
Pressure Resistance: Max working pressure up to 70MPa, far higher than conventional PTFE material.
Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to oil, solvents, acid & alkali, hydrogen sulfide and steam (except concentrated sulfuric acid).
Mechanical Property: High rigidity, low creep, superior wear resistance and stable dimension.
Color: Bright red (pure PEEK customized color); black version is usually carbon fiber/graphite reinforced grade.

6. Remarks
Abbreviation: Some manufacturers mark as PEEK-RED (no common short form for RED, consistent with original marking).
Custom service: Custom ID/OD/thickness available, tolerance ±0.05mm; color depth can be adjusted according to customer requirements (standard bright red by default).
