1. Product Overview
GHP seal, also known as A1 or DH04 wiper seal, is a frameless double-lip rod dust wiper specially designed for hydraulic cylinder rods. It is a non-pressure-bearing dust-proof component that only removes external contaminants instead of sealing hydraulic pressure. This seal effectively scrapes off dust, mud, sand and water on the piston rod surface, preventing foreign matter from entering the cylinder and protecting the internal main sealing system from premature wear and leakage.
With flexible integral elastomer structure, the GHP wiper seal features easy installation without pressing tools. It is widely used in construction machinery, agricultural equipment, mining machinery and other outdoor heavy-duty hydraulic systems, and can replace traditional ASW, WSW and other standard wiper seals.

Dual-lip Design: Outer sharp lip thoroughly wipes off external dirt and sediment; inner auxiliary lip cleans residual oil film on the rod to reduce external oil traces and keep cylinder surface clean.

Frameless Integral Structure: No metal skeleton, high elasticity, good fit with open grooves, convenient assembly and no damage to the rod surface.

Pure Dust-proof Function: Single-direction wiper, not for hydraulic pressure sealing, must work with main rod seals.

3. Structure & Installation Instruction
The GHP wiper seal adopts a step-type double-lip cross-section structure. The outer sharp scraping lip faces the outside of the hydraulic cylinder to block external dust and mud; the inner soft auxiliary lip fits closely with the piston rod to control residual oil film.
Installation Notes:

Must be installed in an open mounting groove; cannot be pressed into closed countersunk holes.

Scraping lip faces outward (toward the external environment).

Cannot be used alone. Equip with main rod seals (UN, UHS, IDI series) inside the cylinder for pressure sealing.
4. Application Scope
Widely applied to hydraulic cylinders of excavators, loaders, cranes, agricultural machinery, mining equipment and other mobile construction machinery. Ideal for dusty, humid, muddy and other harsh outdoor working conditions.
