High temperature sealing ring performance and precautions

High temperature sealing ring is a special material of the seal, because of its unique performance, by everyone's favorite.

SIL silicone rubber seal ring: has excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, atmospheric aging resistance. It has good insulation properties. However, the tensile strength is worse than that of general rubber and does not have oil resistance. Suitable for household appliances such as electric water heater, electric iron, microwave oven, etc. It is also suitable for all kinds of supplies that are in contact with the human body, such as kettles, drinking fountains, etc. Not recommended for use in most concentrated solvents, oils, concentrated acids and sodium hydroxide.

The general use temperature range is -55~250. ACM acrylic rubber seal ring: has excellent resistance to oil products, high temperature resistance, weather resistance are good, but mechanical strength, compression deformation rate and water resistance is slightly poor. Generally used in automotive transmission systems and power steering systems. Not suitable for hot water, brake fluid, phosphate ester. The general use temperature range is -25~170. In addition to the general requirements of the sealing ring material, the sealing ring should pay attention to the following conditions:

(1) Elastic and resilient.

(2) Appropriate mechanical strength, including expansion strength, elongation and tear strength.

(3) The performance is stable, it is not easy to swell in the medium, and the thermal contraction effect (Joule effect) is small.

(4) Easy to process and shape, and can maintain a precise size.

(5) does not corrode the contact surface, does not pollute the medium, etc.
