The main characteristics of hydrogenated nitrile sealing ring

With the development of the petrochemical industry, in addition to the provision of oil resistance, rubber seals should also have good heat        resistance. Heat resistance, high pressure, antioxidant and other characteristics, general NBR nitrile rubber is far from meeting these requirements. Although fluororubber has replaced some of these characteristics, the low temperature resistance of fluororubber is poor. Therefore, people began to explore the improvement of nitrile rubber properties, hydrogenated nitrile rubber sealant produced from time to time.

Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber is a copolymer of butadiene and propylene. This is a special kind of rubber. It is obtained from double bonds in wholly or partially hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber. Its characteristics are usually as follows:

1. Hydrogenated nitrile rubber seals have high impact toughness and wear resistance

2. Excellent aging resistance and ozone resistance

3. Excellent compressive deformation resistance

4. The temperature resistance of hydrogenated nitrile rubber seals is about 30 ° C higher than that of chloroprene rubber and nitrile rubber. The application temperature category is about -45 ° C ~+150 ° C, which can withstand 180 ° C high temperature for short-term use

5. The only disadvantage is the higher price.
