    2. Working Principle​
    Our UPE Spring Energized Seals feature a two-part structure: a UPE sealing ring and a stainless steel spring. At zero system pressure, the spring provides constant pre-pressure to press the UPE lip tightly against the sealing surface. As pressure increases, the UPE U-shaped cavity fills with media, pushing the lip further against the contact surface—creating a dynamic, pressure-enhanced seal that maintains integrity across pressure cycles.
