Forever Seals FKM VS-Type Seals are axial seals mounted on shafts. They rely on interference fit with the shaft to stay fixed and rotate synchronously. When in operation, centrifugal force from rotation presses the flexible sealing lip tightly against the mating surface (e.g., bearing end faces, flanges). This forms a dynamic sealing barrier that stops lubricant from leaking out and keeps external contaminants (dust, water, oil stains) from entering the bearing system—ensuring smooth equipment operation.
