Is the fluorine rubber O-ring stable in high temperature environment?

With the development of industry, fluorine rubber O-ring is widely used in automobiles, electronics, aerospace, ships, etc., requiring relatively high precision, high temperature resistance, high wear resistance, and harsh working environment. With the development of industry, fluorine rubber material is also constantly improving and innovation.

The main characteristics of fluorine rubber O-ring are high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and has good anti-aging and anti-ozone performance, and the permeability is also very low. It still has very good wear resistance even under very bad working conditions. Fluororubber can withstand operating temperatures of 200 degrees or below, and can also allow for short periods of oil-free operation.

Fluororubber can resist oil, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, lubricants, inorganic acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons, etc., but in the case of esters, ethers, ketones, certain amines and high temperature fluorine hydrohydrogen compounds, fluororubber should not be used.

Under normal working conditions and operating temperatures below 200 degrees, fluororubber is very stable and harmless.

However, when it encounters a high temperature of more than 300 degrees, such as the flame of the gas cutting gun, fluorine rubber will release harmful gases. Inhaling these gases or getting them into the eyes can cause damage to human health.
