What happens in the vulcanization process of rubber seals?

In the vulcanization process of rubber seals, what causes the poor performance of rubber seals? For example, the rubber seal vulcanization working time is not enough or the vulcanization working temperature is not up to standard, that is, the degree of vulcanization is not enough (also known as lack of sulfur), the physical properties of the sealing product can not be reached, such as low hardness, low strength, elongation, deformation, elasticity and other characteristics can not normally play advantages, which has a greater relationship with the degree of lack of sulfur.

However, if the vulcanization time is too long or too high (commonly known as sulfur), the physical properties of the rubber sealing ring become low, affecting the characteristics of the sealant material. Follow-up can be observed through the vulcanization curve, if with the increase of time, the torque has been rising, then the hardness of the oversulfur rubber material is larger than the AC of positive vulcanization, if with the increase of time, the torque has a downward trend, then it can be explained that the oversulfur leads to excess cross-linking of the rubber material, and the cross-linking will appear soft, sticky and other bad situations. We need to make improvements in time to prevent such things from happening.

Therefore, the vulcanization process is very important, which will lead to the performance of the rubber seal ring is not up to standard, so that it can not be used or the service life is shortened.
